As an airline, CiTylinK takes its corporate responsibilities very serious. Understanding the impact of its operations on the environment, the company launched a programme called CiTylinK Goes Green in 2008. This is a programme to collaborate with other environmentally-friendly organisations to plant trees to offset the carbon footprint of the organisations operations. In July 2009, CiTylinK joined forces with Friends of Rivers and Water Bodies to plant trees around Lake Bosomtwi, the largest natural lake in Africa. Below are some of the photos taken during the exercise.
